In 2021, the global container industry ushered in booming sales due to better-than- expected global demand, and also unusual strong orders due to port congestions that immobilized the movements of existing dry containers. Every effort, on national and international level, was made to increase production in spite of severe disruptions, when containers were in short supply globally. CIMC has fulfilled these demands to ensure stabilization of global supply chain for containers. Last year, the Group's container manufacturing’s market-share witnessed a stellar growth, achieving annual revenue of RMB 65.967 billion, a year-on-year increase of 197.64%; net profit of RMB 11.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 469.94%.
